​Visual: Deep mahogany; pours thin with an espresso-style crema. Head retention is brief. ​Body: Medium-bodied; lighter than anticipated for the style but far from watery. ​Flavor Profile: Exceptional. High notes of residual sweetness effectively balance a robust, smoky, and "boozy" core. The flavors are remarkably well-integrated. ​Overall: A beautiful, harmonious Imperial Stout that hides its 11.2% strength behind layers of complexity.
