Finnish Sahti Championships 2022. We are not participating in the competition itself but offer our brew in the parking area, exactly like last year — the so called "trunk sahti" (takakonttisahti). The idea is to park your car in the parking lot, open the trunk and start serving your product. And it's all free! 🍻 I will do short reviews only, this is a supersocial event. 😅 Instead of analyzing the Sahtis piece by piece, I'll try this time to focus on what is good, what could be improved, what is unique, etc. The first Sahti is suspiciously hazy, even s bit frothy. Smells bready. Extraordinarily sweet, syrupy, offers also sweet orange juice. Oat flour comes through. Drinkable but odd.

Sahti contest #4. Sludgy brown Sahti. The scent offers grainy flour. Fermented banana, sappy malt and fruity cookie accompany the package. The taste serves oversweet malt, lovely banana, pastry and bun dough. The mouthfeel is full, mellow, deep but still quite gluggable. Better than #1 in my opinion. This is all for now.
