Murky, deep copper. Banana, orange in the fragrance. Banana is powerful in taste. Faintly floury in my opinion. Feels medium-full, sticky, juicy. Balanced.

Pale orange to light-brown. The nose picks relatively mild aromas. The taste is quite limited. I pick malt but not a particularly ample twist of banana. Characterless. It goes there, nothing special.

Medium-brown. Nothing special in the air. It's just there, almost negligible. The taste is basically attractive: sweet and viscous.

Copper color. Not appealing in the air: floury and slightly tart. A bit sour citrusy palate with some floury nuances. Not good.

Suppressed scent. Very sweet, full flavor. Sticky. Sappy. Balanced. Easy. Fits beautifully in the genre.

The 2019 winner (last year's contest was canceled because of the covid). Pours foggy, mustard brown-yellow. The nose picks sweet fermented banana in good loads. Sweet malt and biscuit accompany the package. The taste unleashes hefty banana, partly ripe, partly fermented. Very sweet malt base, fruity, apricot and mango in addition to banana. The mouthfeel is mellow, soft, smooth, sticky and sappy. Gluggable for sure.
