Hanasta. Mahtava pähkinäinen tuoksu. Maistuu vähän Fatzerin Wiener nougatille. Alkoholi pysyy hyvin piilossa. Ei mitenkään makea. Pitkään viipyilevä pähkinäinen jälkimaku.

A nightcap. The glass gets a thick pour of a deep matte black beer. Timid carbonation. A dense chocolatey head grows half a finger thick and shrinks sluggishly to a tenuous lace ring. Beautiful smell. Hefty molten dark chocolate. Loads of cacao nibs. A faint wisp of vanilla lingers nicely in the shadows. Do I also pick distant chili powder in the air? I think I do. The dark chocolate melts on the tongue. Like thick ganache. Bags of cacao nibs constitute the skeleton of the chocolatey taste. The chili flavor is quite moderate and remotely smoked. That equals chipotle. I'm still imagining vanilla in the background but can't verify it though. The body is robust. The end is equally chocolatey as upfront. With a marginal spicy twist. Intriguing. Got the blood of Maya shamans, flowin' down into my roots; the blood of mexica warriors, flowin' down and thru the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is full, sticky, thick, deep and desserty. And marginally spicy. Adjuncts are obvious. All in all, a lovely but fairly straightforward sipper.
