Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads out there. This has a bready wheat with spicy clove, banana, and hints of orange taste. Overall a pretty decent American Hefe. Another treat from my Maryland trip last week.

This has a nice toasted nutty malt taste that has just a hint of toffee to go with it. Also has some grassy hops that gives it a nice touch of hoppy counterbalance that leaves it a little sweet but does it job. Finishes up dry. Overall one of the nicer Maibocks I’ve had. Not that I’m an expert. They are not easy to find here but I appreciate the good ones when I find them. It is a Cicada season this year so does that mean we won’t see this beer again for another 17 years??? I hope not. It was another beer I picked up from Maryland. Phillies won so time to watch hockey. Nothing like watching hockey on an 85 degree humid day.

Has some citrus with light fruit. Citrus leans towards lemon with some melon, pineapple and very light cantaloupe. A very light bitterness. Finishes a bit dry and tart. Overall an okay hazy but needs a little more oomph. Another beer I brought home from Maryland.

Citrusy aroma. Taste has oranges, grapefruit, pineapple and mango, citrusy and piney hops, and a solid malt backbone. Minor lingering bitterness that doesn't stick around long in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel and medium-ish carbonation. High 4/5
