I'm a huge coffee drinker so I was happy to enjoy this one. I usually find cream ales to be a little light in flavor and mouth feel but this proved both wrong.

Tumma, meripihkainen, väriltään aika dusk. Makua on, hieman makeuttakin, jonka kuvittelen päässäni maissisiirappiksi.

Going to the dark side today. This has a light pecan and toffee taste as listed on the can. Not overdone which is nice. Also has some vanilla and chocolate with roasted malt. Sweet with just a touch of bitterness. Overall a nice dessert stout. I like but don’t think I could drink a lot of them but it was really tasty. Feels good to have a good beer. I was in a pretty long rut. Here it is with today’s line up. Only 2 new ones (in the middle). I’ve been revisiting some beers here and there. Don’t usually review them again tho.

Cellar stash cleanup 🍻 Collaboration Nitro Imperial Stout that has matured well or should I say kept it’s condition as don’t seem to have changed much even though the BB date has been in 2021. Bold roasted malts and Vietnamese espresso coffee on the aroma and taste. Taste continues with caramel, dark chocolate and vanilla with moderate+ bitterness for balance. Smooth nitro creamy nutty finish with subtle alcohol warmth. Could buy more but quite sure that all are long gone…
