Yikes, what a beer!
It’s a maple onslaught but not overly sweet. There’s slight alcohol burn, rich malt character, a hint of berries and some slight vinous notes.
Was leaning towards Sherry as a comparison then saw that this was packaged ‘still’ with no carbonation. Maple infused Sherry, that’s literally what this is. So smooth and unctuous.

It’s been a while since I drank a Canadian beer, at least 3 years since I was in Halifax, NS.
This is an intense breakfast stout, full of coffee and silky smooth mouthfeel. Roastiness is subdued but there’s layers of character typical to a stout.
