This Fractal beer has got to be better than when Ryan and I went to the brewery. Bad experience there. First beer I've had from them in 2 years.
Nice deep Amber red color. Deep Amber malt aroma. Flavor brings not only Amber malt but heavy bread. Something unknown in the middle. Get earthy roasted malt, then some black pepper in the finish. Trying to identify the middle flavor. Seems somewhat fruity, maybe raisin that's too young and still a bit tart. Whatever, I don't really like it. I'll pass on having another of these.

Enjoying this brew at fractal Brewing Project Brewery on tap. Part of a flight of four with my son-in-law.
Came in a sampler with modest amount of foamy head that lasted quite a while. Beautiful, very dark red and clear color. Aroma,,,,,oh no!!! Smells like fingernail polish remover, acetone. Flavor has to be better. Damn, taste like burnt fingernail polish remover. Only have half of a sampler glass and I'm not going to finish it. This would get a negative if I could.
Saved this for last because I thought it would be the best. So so wrong.

Enjoying this beer at Fractal Brewing Project Brewery on tap. Part of a flight.
Clear orangish amber color. Nice amber aroma. Somewhat sweet and perhaps just a little marzon flavor. Finish brings forth a higher level of bitterness than expected. Good brew.

Having on tap at fractal Brewing Project Brewery. Part of a flight that me and my son-in-law are enjoying.
Beautiful clear deep reddish amber color. Not much head in this sample glass. Rich amber aroma. Good, rich smokey Amber flavor. Has some nutty bitterness that continues through the finish.
Has more bitterness than I prefer in an amber but still an good imperial amber.

Having this brew on-site at fractal Brewing Project. On tap only. Enjoying on a flight.
Begins with almost no head, dark opaque brown color. Not much aroma but it is in a sample glass. Texture is crisp. Flavor is flat, dark, very sour and bitter. Supposed to be comparable to Guinness but it's not. Not enjoying this one very much.

At fractal brewing project Brewery trying some of their in-house brews only.
This is called time taker. Poured with the German tradition of five to send seven minutes to pour. Have to be patient for this one, my first slow pour beer. Of course the head is very high and frothy. Mild pilsner aroma, not a lot of carbonation left. Light and crisp texture. Excellent but mild and flavor. Could drink too many of these.

On tap at the Harp and Clover Irish Pub. Pours with a short head, has a light yellow color, crystal clear, little carbonation. Very mild flavor, typical of American pilsners. Smooth and refreshing but nothing special. Hoping for more punch.
