This has some cocoa, dark chocolate with some roasted malt and light+ char. There is barely a hint of cherry. Has a medium bitterness. Thin.
Overall this was nice from a stout perspective. It was not very dessert-ish. Also, was disappointed by the lack of cherry. 4.0 as a stout but had to drop for missing 2 aspects expected.

Christmas Advent beer #4. This has a spicy taste that leans toward cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, light clove with a hint of an eggnog aftertaste to it. Has hints of fruit that leans towards banana with some lighter hints of orange/orange zest. All sticking to the mouth.
Definite Belgium style but loaded with spice. I really liked it although I don’t think I could drink a lot of them.

Happy Friday. Going a little off the wall. This has a toasted, semi sweet caramel malt that has a very salty taste. The pretzel taste is there but it’s just kind of weak from true Philly pretzel perspective. Has some very light earthy hops.
It’s pretty good from a general beer perspective. Weak on the pretzel aspect. I’d rate as a 4 as it was that good but missing on the pretzel cost it .1 in the points scale.
