This was interesting. As soon as I cracked the can I could smell nutmeg. The taste is a spicy eggnog. It has cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla that has a definite eggnog taste to it. It’s fairly hoppy too. Definitely has some malt to it but it’s hard to distinguish from the overall eggnog taste. Has a medium thickness. It’s amazing what they can do with the different tastes they can apply to beer now of days. A nice novelty beer.

This is scary good. This has roasted malt/oats with dark chocolate, dark fruit, licorice, hints of molasses. They seem to get a little more intense as it warms a little. It’s quite bitter but has a nice little sweetness and creaminess to it. It has a medium thickness. What is scary is at 11%, you do not detect the abv in any way. Overall it went down a little too quick for what should be a sipper. But, mmm mmm good

This is a re-review. This has a dark roasted malt with dark berry taste. Has some hints of coffee and chocolate that seem to fade in and out. Had before and didn’t like a tea taste I was getting. I’m not getting that now. I wonder if I had an old beer back then. Maybe I have to try this a 3rd time just to give it a final verdict.

This is supposed to be a hoppy barleywine. It really tastes like a WCIPA. Has a medium malt backbone that is caramel/toffee and very sweet. Hoppy side, which is strong, has some citrus that is mainly orange with light grapefruit. Then add in some light+ pine. Overall it is one of the better WC IPA style beers I’ve had in a while. Has a strong sweet & bitter flavor combo going on. The problem is I was expecting a barleywine. I’m rating a 3.9. If it was an IPA it would be a 4.2 easy. I don’t like that they sucked me in looking one way but satisfying me in another way. It was damn good tho.
