I have to admit at first sip I wasn’t crazy about this. Then as I got further in the flavor started bombarding my mouth. This is malty with some dark fruit that leans towards raisin/fig, dark cherry and plum. Has some light toasted caramel. Has a wood taste that includes a significant oak presence. Has just a little touch of smoke. Has hints of herbal hops adding a little spice to it. Yum Has a BBE Dec 33. I’m not sure what that means. I hope it wasn’t December 3, 2023. It didn’t taste old.

Smooth strong dark ale. Could drink it by the gallon but drink it slowly to really appreciate the flavours.
