Happy Friday. This is kind of sweet that has candied orange mainly with some hints of mango. Light bitterness. Has barely a hint of pine. Has very light sweet biscuity malt background. Has a little alcohol burn to it.
It’s a little sweet for me but still a pretty decent DIPA. Kind of west coast-ish in a new style kind of way.
Packaged 4/9/25.

Not very carbonated. Nice cerealy smell. Very refreshing. Good wheaty cerealy aromas. Nice bitterness. Aftertaste is citrusy and bitter. Very refreshing and enjoyable.

So I said yesterday I’d re-review this as I think my previous beer kind of skewed me. So I’m doing a double up to make sure I get a true tasting.
The fruit was basically the same but I’m getting more citrus that is grapefruit, tangerine/orange and light lemon. The tangerine/orange seems to give a little tangy taste to it. The passionfruit and pineapple seem a little more subtle this time around. It is a little sweet/candied but not nearly as extreme as last night. It was hoppy at a light level more consistently. It is a little dry in the finish. I even picked up a little malt but that was the first can and that faded quick.
I was going to do a can by can review but it is literally 100 degree’s out. (37.778 in C). They went down a little quick.
Definitely better today. Was at a 3.4/3.5 level. I wasn’t generous today. I’m too damn hot!!! 🔥🥵🌡️
