Happy Father’s Day to all you Dad’s out there. I hope you are enjoying a nice brew today.🍺🍻 Brought a bottle home from Manafirkin Brew Co. from visiting my mom & pop. This is a cream ale that they brew but then age in brandy barrels with Madagascar vanilla beans added in with the barrels. I will say they are onto something here. It has that nice brandy 🥃 with vanilla taste from the oak but is creamy and has a fairly low abv at 6.5%. Light in the alcohol but heavy on the flavor. This is one you could drink a quite a few w/o getting totally hammered. I want to visit this place again and not be the driver this time. I could have spent all day there. I did buy a t-shirt as I love their name & wearing it now. Everything is “Firkin”. They are down near the shore. It has a wave with a barrel. See above

Hit a local micro brew by my parents house. An excellent black IPA. Has some roasted malts that has a nice char to it. Has a strong hoppy taste. Yum.
