Had very high hopes for this Texas brewed Dunkle. Poured with a beautiful medium-high tan head. Nice reddish brown clear color. Typical dunkle aroma. Heavier texture than I expected. Flavor is very roasted, almost charred. Very earthy with no sweetness whatsoever. Finish transitions to a faint dark raw cocoa and turned flat before I could even finish it. Expectations were too high.
