500ml clear glass, crown cap; pours a bright brilliant light to medium straw, gentle carbonation, pours with a white head, which disappears quickly; on the nose floral and perfumed, complex, yet clean and crisp, ripe pears and clean citrusy notes, very faint herbaceous notes in the background rounding off the aroma; in the mouth dry and rounded, slight acidity mingles with rich and ripe fruit (pears and apples), with an underlying creamy vanilla, or maybe rhubarb and custard sweets undertones, gentle carbonation prickles on the tongue and carries pear notes and vanilla into a lingering finish, light to perhaps medium mouthfeel, full of clean and crisp fruity notes, as well as softer rounded creamy herbal and vanilla character; overall a refreshing and very session-able perry, which serves everything you would expect from Ross on Wye – pure masterpiece!
