BEER: Las Piñas BREWERY: Moonraker Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: NEIPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 7.0% COLOUR (EBC): Orange Juice Yellow (15.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): 45.0 AROMA: Turns bit citrusy after a good run from greenleafed midsummer bushes, some hay and whispers from earthiness. HEAD: One finger tall, quite tight and lacy in the backend. GREY’S VIEW Simcoe, Citra & Strata hopped NEIPA. Taste is tuned down. There’s grass, chopped cantaloupe-pineapple mix, oranges and light pitay flesh too. Grains are present also, which is nice addition to the being. But it’s notably easy. Tiny, semi soft carbonated body is light-ish and easy. It’s decent and obscure like the nextdoor neighbor. Backend dryes calmly, with some herbal and more of mixed, easy going lemons. OTHER NOTES: Easy piece, with easily forgettable everything. Might be the age thing, but then again, US breweries should send us more fresh pieces here 👊🏼 CANNED 22/11/2021 TASTED 18/2/2022

BEER: Toppenish BREWERY: Moonraker Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: IPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 7.0% COLOUR (EBC): Light Straw Yellow (7.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: It’s there. Piney, spicys, wet grass to go with mellow apricots. Surprizingly strong. HEAD: One finger tall, shy. GREY’S VIEW Wet Simcoe Single Hop West Coast IPA. Taste starts nicely, giving; pine bark dipped in hop oils, apricots and stonefruits ig., also kiwi peels and some white pepper are there. Body is well on the medium side with sharp-ish carbonation and plenty enough feel of hop oils and lip gluing resins. The white pepper grows as more liquid goes down. OTHER NOTES: Clear tasting and pure feeling beer. Nicely slow to enjoy while the hops works hard in this. Enjoyable. CANNED 19/10/2021 TASTED 14/2/2022

BEER: Strange Magic BREWERY: Moonraker Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: NEIPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 7.0% COLOUR (EBC): Orange Juice Yellow (15.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): 50.0 AROMA: Although it’s rather light, the hop aromas are delightful. Tropical and soft, fresh breath from the southern islands! HEAD: Fluffy and airy, teo finger tall. GREY’S VIEW El Dorado, Simcoe & Citra hopped NEIPA. I get ripe tangerine, peach-pineapple purée, greenherbs and piney goings. It gives dry-ish pine cones, hay quite quickly to level out the ripe fruits. Mouthfeel is somewhat snappy with medium body wrapped around lively bubbles. Hop oils are working hard here. Aftertaste has lemonpeels, pineresin and nice amount of hop oils. OTHER NOTES: Clearly on the ripe side, but it’s a delight one to enjoy. Solid palette with clear direction makes this enjoyable. CANNED 21/10/2021 TASTED 7/2/2022

Myös Ranskalaista espressoa ja kuivahkoa pähkinäisyyttä. VAAHTO: Sormen mittaan pinnistelevä, täysin paahdetun maltaan punertava. Kaunis. GREY’S VIEW 18 kk:tta Bourbon Tynnyröity Imperial Stout maustettuna Kaakao Nibseillä, Appelsiininkuorilla ja Vaniljapavuilla. Paksua kunttaa siis hei! Oukkis. Maut. Mukavaa. Sulaa tummasuklaata, näyttävästi appelsiinimarmeladia, kevyehköä tummapaahtoista espresso papuisuutta, vaniljakastiketta, runsaan makean sitkoista kaakaota. Suutuntu on tuhdin puolella. Eloisaa kunttaa, ilman sotaisuutta siis. Appelsiini pehmentää olemusta erinomaisesti. Bourbon jytkyttää tuollaista Tapola-tanssia läpi matkan 😬 Kyllähän se tietenkin kelpaa… kun tietää, että mitä se on. Silleesti. Jälkiliuku on paahdetun espresso papuinen, appelsiinimarmeladikaramellinen sekä edelleen tummasuklainen. MUUTA MAINITTAVAA: Mainio teos selkeästi. Appelsiini on erinomaisen hienosti esitelty tässä. Espresso miellyttää myös. Hieman kuitenkin jättää kaipaamaan niitä selkäkarvoja korventavaa potkua. Mmm. En näe kypsyttely tarvetta tälle. BOTTLED 2021 TASTED 2022

Hieman tynkä kuitenkin? VAAHTO: Klassinen,kahden sormen mittainen, kunnes vetäytyy viltiksi oluen ylle. Jättää melko runsaasti pitsiä lasin reunoille. GREY’S VIEW Mosaic & Azacca tuorehumaloitu ja Mosaic, Idaho 7 & Azacca Cryo Kuivahumaloitu, viimeisteltynä Azacca terpeenillä (yhdiste, mikä antaa humalalle maun). Jep. Syvään päätyyn. Mausta löytyy kuusipuuta, kuusenpihkaa, sitruunankuorta, hitusen tuollaista, etäistä karamellisuutta. Pihkaisuus on etualalla alkuun. Mausteisuuteen taipuvainen se on omassa suussa; pippuria, kaktuksen kukkaa, sitruksia. Humalaöljyt ovat osassaan myös tässä. Mielenkiintoinen, vaikka selkeästi vajavainen. Suutuntu on kopea, Old-school IPA-tyylisen, tasapainoisen pihkainen ja humalakäpyinen. Humalaöljyisyys ei ole ylimitoitettua, mutta se on roolissa tässä. Hitaan kuivattavaa sorttia. Loppuliukuun laskeudutaan humalaöljyissä kastetuilla havunneulasilla, kehittyvällä mausteisuudella sekä sitruskuorisuudella. MUUTA MAINITTAVAA: Kovaa yritystä Moonrakerilta. BEER: DisHonorable Villain BREWERY: Moonraker Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: West Coast TIPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 10.0% COLOUR (EBC): Clear Coppery Orange (19.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Sweet floral. I also somehow get ice cream and lactose? HEAD: Close to one finger tall. GREY’S VIEW Strata, Enigma, Citra & Mosaic hopped West Coast TIPA. Mmm. It’s plentiful. I get dry baked grapefruit cake, freshly grated lemon peels, hints from dank, pine cones and pine in all actually. It’s clearly a intresting and much deeper piece then what I’m gonna open here. Mouthfeel is really firm and well postured, keeping it’s form tightly. There’s small room for bubbles to play, but not much. Hops are plenty and they work well. Hop oils are there, yeah. Aftertaste is still pine forwarded; some -bark, some -rooty being there. Also drybreadiness comes to palate at this point. OTHER NOTES: Enjoyably slow piece! Plenty in taste with damn nice bed. Loads of different sort of pines to go with hoppyish bite and being. Intresting piece in all. CANNED 18/11/2021 TASTED 14/1/2022

BEER: Outrigger BREWERY: Moonraker Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: IPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 7.0% COLOUR (EBC): Clear Tangerine Orange (17.5) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Tight. A bit fruity. HEAD: - GREY’S VIEW West Coast IPA w/ Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic & Columbus. The color of this piece is really nice one. Purely transparent and golden orange. Really nice one. Taste. Okay. It’s a spruce needle forwarded. There’s also some semi ripe grapefruit, green herbs and grass. Bit one dimensional at this point. Body is somewhat medium- with tight and tiny carbonation. Aftertaste offers some tree bark, dried grapefruit peel, hints of spruce raisin and also, there, in the far background, some salted lemon candies. OTHER NOTES: Nice-ish try from Moonraker, but this really trips down in the best west coast elements. Too dry, too something. The base isn’t really there. CANNED 17/11/2021 TASTED 13/1/2022
