Though I’d better drink this Thomas Hardy’s Ale that I bought back in 1992 as it’s getting a bit old now. It’s quite smooth and has a really chocolatey aroma and flavour with a rich Port aftertaste but is oxidising really quickly and turning marmitey in taste.

Étonnant quand on ne connaît pas, on a été trois à goûter, je lui le seul qui à n'avoir que partiellement apprécié : trop alcoolisée et trop sirupeuse. Je réessaierai néanmoins, style en fin de soirée d'hiver.

Ptesque un armagnac

Una old ale particolare, per palati "pronti": molto più simile ad un liquore che a una birra, da sorseggiare davanti al caminetto. Non uno stile di mio gradimento ma comunque valida.
