An excellent cider -- just a tad on the sweet side (the bane of all Ozzie ciders, this being better than most), but hits the spot!

Enjoyed straight from the bottle in the park. I'm getting used to this habit... I can't say definitely how the cider looks like but it seems to be cloudy. The scent from the bottle is rather farmhousey, very rustic and slightly vinous. Interesting. The first sip reveals my experience so far correct: relatively vinous and wine-yeasty, medium-sour apple, green grapes and a dollop of white wine. Alcohol doesn't taste at all but just to be sure, I had to check it on the bottle: 9.1 %. Ok, that explains the vinous character. The cider finishes with quite recognizeable white wine, strong yeast, extraordinarily rustic apple mash and a note of green grapes. The aftertaste pulls my gums for some time. The mouthfeel is rather strong, substantially rustic and relatively vinous. It's also extremely natural, gardeny and earthy. Unique indeed!
