The carbonation behaves well although I wouldn't call this shy. A creamy head with several big bubbles reaches two fingers and dwindles gradually to a generous ring and a hair-thin haze on the surface. The scent sends inviting vibes in the form of syrup, molasses, a twist of dark plum peel and a hint of cookie. Perhaps also faint cola. The concoction supports a fairly similar flavor medley: copious syrup, purple plum peel, retreating molasses, a bit of dark chocolate and cookie. Very attractive! The body is medium-full. Lovely! The finish is identical to upfront. The mouthfeel is soft, smooth, medium-full, lip-glueing, somewhat deep and even desserty.
