Best before 2027.04.05. Coffee, roasted notes, sunflower, citruses. Theoretically everything is here. Also gentle butter at beginning. But it's like harmony between that everything is missing. Low to medium bitterness. Low-bodied.

After-sauna nightcap. Pitch black and muddy, of course. The emerging crown is fawn and velvety, exceeds one finger and dissolves gradually to a dense lace ring.
Powerful peanut butter slams straight to my nose. Dark chocolate, cacao nibs and a hint of vanilla create a delicious cakey impression. Thin traces of marshmallow, caramel and toffee put the final dot to the list. Promises a delicacy on the tongue.
The tastebuds love the intensive flavors: fruity Bourbon leads the show whereas the peanut butter has diminished a tad from the air. Dark chocolate, marshmallow, caramel, faint toffee and a small injection of vanilla finalize the series of adjuncts here. The maltbill gives graham cracker, waffle and cookie.
The body is full although not huge. The finish gives ample Bourbon, dark chocolate, peanut and raw cacao powder. The level of sweetness declines by several decimals at this stage. Still, the tail keeps the taste receptors active for a pretty long time.
The sensation in the mouth is full, deep, rich, intense, adjuncted, warming and barrel aged. It's extraordinarily desserty, viscous, sticky and lip-glueing. Not really alcoholic until in the very end where a slight tang can be felt. All in all, a tasty piece that ranks favorably among those ”Monuments“ that I have tasted. 🖤🖤

A nightcap. Opaque, oily black beer with an uncommon marsala colored head that falls short of one finger. The head itself melts fairly fast down but the thick lace ring remains much longer on the surface.
The predominant nuance in the air is raspberry chocolate icecream. Delicious! Cacao nibs and powder have been served generously. Quite distant red wine lingers in the background. Or is it sherry? Purple plum is a shy latecomer to the dance.
Raspberry and dry red wine scare me seriously: their role simply explodes on the tongue. The balance is definitely history. The red wine barrel dominates. A bit of cranberry joins the show. Chocolate and cacao, in whatever form, retreat discreetly to the shadows. Pity, it started so harmoniously but now it's even aggressive.
The body is medium-full. Well... it could be bigger, of course, I somehow expected a truly robust slam but it didn't happen. The end doesn't change its route at all.
The mouthfeel is medium-full, barrel aged, vinous, somewhat tangy, dry and drying. Feels and tastes raw. Maybe this would benefit from cellaring, the bottling seems to have been in February this year, so this is six months old now. Or it has rested in the bottle for six months, the beer itself has been brewed much earlier since the label says that the barrel aging took 30 months. Anyway, this is not too impressive as it is now.

A nightcap by the lake. The night crawls gradually in and starts a magical show of the nature. Night birds making interesting melodies. Fish popping up from the water and making splashy sounds. Bats stealthing silently just above the water level and catching their nightly dose of insects.
Talking about insects... mosquitoes are not very many but even the more annoying. 🦟
But let me forget about the mosquitoes and focus my attention on the beer. Looks very turbid. The color is very deep dark brown with a strong maroon tinge. A decent tawny head emerges on the top and melts rapidly away.
The scent offers promising aromas: the first wave brings in dark chocolate, crushed cacao beans and sweet cherry pralines. A shy proposal of sweet red wine pops up in the second wave. And eventually, the third and last wave unleashes Amaretto, not the alcohol part of it but the almond. Interesting!
The gustatory universe... whoaah... my goodness! Now we have red wine! And it's not sweet. But dry. Cherry is much less prominent now. Not particularly sweet either, rather like cherry mash with all the skins in it. Dark chocolate and raw cacao powder are now auxiliary components.
The body should clock big. But it doesn't. Maybe medium. Ish. Alright. Not superimpressive though. The finish is truly dry with red wine and soaked oak barrel. Maybe a hint of raw cacao powder but definitely no chocolate. I'm intrigued to say that no cherry either. I don't know. But absolutely no almond at this stage.
The mouthfeel is medium, relatively dry, barrel aged, vinous and drying. It's somewhat woody, harsh and raw. I like the unpredictability and layers. However, I'm afraid that the potential is not fully untapped here.

This beer looks opaque black. The carbonation works on a timid side. A modest chocolatey lacing can be spotted on the surface just before it dies away.
The nose takes one step back because of a powerful scent: strongly floral, obviously rose (judging from the name...), and therefore perfumy. Other components are raspberry praline, dark chocolate, cacao nibs and green apple.
Hope the gustatory profile doesn't scare the hell out of my tastebuds. Whooaah! This is really interesting: rose, apparently. But I associate it heavily with strawberry mash. A bit sourish even. What?? Sweet red apple, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, lactose, cane sugar, marshmallow. A dash of vanilla. Strange. I honestly didn't expect some of those elements.
The body is medium. Should be sturdier for the ABV. Sweet aftertaste. Rosey. Strawberry chocolate praline. Yeah.
The mouthfeel is medium, sappy, lip-glueing, perfumy and fragrant. Soft and smooth. Somewhat odd. Credits for innovativeness although this is not necessarily too successful.
