Rich, mildly bitter porter. Smooth drinking, mild aftertaste.

At the 2021 San Antonio Beer Festival with my son-in-law. At Texas Beer Company having their whatever this roasted beer is. Dark brown, opaque, short head, aroma is only roasted malt. Has a touch of raisin. That's it. Need a break on beer.

In Texas, at Whiskey River Ranch enjoying a good Texas porter. Has a high frothy head, opaque brown color. Faint aroma of chocolate. Texture is light. Initial flavor is dark dry chocolate, slight bitter crispness to it. Finish is a bittersweet dry roasted coffee. Low carbonation and I can detect no alcohol. This is a very drinkable porter and I enjoyed it.

Pecos Amber Lager Clear, deep orangeish amber color. Flavor is stronger than most Ambers. Very smooth, slightly soft, bitter finish that's lasts awhile. I like strong flavors and this is one of the more flavorful Amber's I've ever had.
