The last beer I brought home from vacation. I lagered it for a bit, since it is more of an autumn or winter beer. For basically the same reason I did not use my Loo-blah-nah glass: it is not fitting for the beer. When the first aroma hit my nostrils, I almost thought it had gone bad, but I then realized it was the red wine I was smelling. I got next to no head with zero retention after vigorous pouring. The beer is nice and viscous with gentle carbonation. Lagering on red wine barrels clearly left its mark. Besides that I got dried fruits and caramel. Nice beer to easily enjoy.

Quite a good hoppy ale, pleasant to drink and interesting. Not blowing me away, but enjoyable.
