These are the kind of beers that I live for. The ones that are an absolute delight, when you were least expecting it. Talk about remote, this place is in the middle of nowhere, and then some! When you stumble upon such a small place, expectations aren’t high, but then you see the tap list... 8 keg, 1 cask and 1 cider. All sound decent. Of course I go for the porter, and what a choice! Mellow roastiness gives way to an acidic slightly tart blackberry and forest fruit flavour which is quickly engulfed in dark chocolate and slight cappuccino nuances. Has body, feels full and just keeps on going. Every sip is the same... roast, tart berries, choco-coffee cup! What a delight! Happy Father’s Day!!

Had to give it a 5. I'm standing next to the bloke who brewed it.
