The aroma is rich in coconut and vanilla. Also some roastiness and caramel. Really good and intense aroma. The mouthfeel is medium-carbonated, rich, thick, smooth, sweet and yet quite easy to drink. I can taste roastiness, sweetness, vanilla, coconut, caramel, chocolate, some liquorice and licorice. The aftertaste is rich, smooth, coconutty, warming and leaves a really nice caramel sweetness in the mouth. It works incredibly well. Somehow, you might think that sweetness and coconut wouldn't always work in a Imperial Stout, but this is so well balanced that it works incredibly well in my mouth. It somehow tastes so nice and flavours are authentic. __________________________________ Tuoksussa runsaasti kookosta, vaniljaa, sekä jonkin verran paahdetta ja karamelliä. Tosi hyvä ja intensiivinen tuoksu. Suutuntuma on keskihiilihappoinen, runsas, ryhdikäs, paksu, pehmeä, makea ja kuitenkin aika helposti juotavaa. Maussa paahdetta, makeutta, vaniljaa, kookosta, karamelliä, suklaata, sekä hieman liköörisyyttä ja lakritsia. Jälkimaku on runsas, pehmeä, kookoksinen, lämmittävä ja jättää tosi kivan karamellisen makeuden suuhun. Toimii ihan älyttömän hyvin. Jotenkin voisi luulla, että makeus ja kookos ei aina toimisi impissä, mutta tämä on saatu niin hyvin tasapainoon, että on omaan suuhun älyttömän toimiva. Mautkin jotenkin niin kivan aitoja.

Aroma: coffee, caramel and walnut. Mouthfeel is quite sweet, smooth, balanced, good rich body and still very easy to drink for 15% Imperial Stout. Taste: coffee, caramel, sweetness, chocolate, vanilla and walnuts. Aftertaste is dry. Coffee and walnuts. A nicely balanced beer, but by no means amazing. I have heard so much good about this brewery that I was hoping for even more. I need to find more stout from Bang The Elephant.

Nice drink but not overly beery.
