Microbrewery beer, so it's a bit unpolished and carries a bit of cloudiness and some fairly chunky sediment. But, this is a very good darkish amber ale. Nutty and malt aromas carry through into the core flavours in a deep, but balanced fashion. The aftertaste carries some zingy hop bite, but not excessively so. This beer proves that micro-breweries can create ales that compete and outdo some equivalent beets by the 'big boys.' In some ways, this beer reminds me of Old Speckled Hen, but without the insipid qualities; to my taste buds, it's a much authentic, earthy and satisfying drink.

Produced by a local micro-brewery, so it's slightly rough and ready, as expected, but also rather good. Golden, but cloudy, with just a slight carbonation. Mildly floral flavours and a mid-level, balanced hop flavour with a. surprisingly smooth aftertaste. There was quite a bit of sediment left in the bottle, but nothing too bad. Drunk chilled after work on a sunny day, this was a refreshing and interesting drop. Just about deserves a 4.

A lovely creamy porter. Chocolatey at first taste followed by some caramel/toffee notes. Aroma is very appetizing

A bit bland but still enjoyable.
