Part of the spoons beer festival range. Only had half because of the abv, any road on to the review. Dark and malty as expected, with a malty taste and a subtle berry fruit note. Similar taste profile, but with a slightly bitter finish. An enjoyable drink and a good session ale that's totally quaffable—just mind the strength.

Not my style of drink. Decent enough with coffee flavour.

Dark lager with fruit loaf & dark chocolate notes

JDW version, it's brewed down to 6.0% for spoonfest and it's cask. Good chocolate flavours lead to a bitter finish. Once you get past the initial slightly medicinal flavour it's a well developed beer.
