Anspach & Hobday
England

Anspach & Hobday's emergence in early 2014 rubber-stamped Bermondsey's position at the heart of London's craft-beer scene, so it's appropriate that they take so much inspiration from the city's unparalleled brewing tradition: the brewery's launch range included a porter and an IPA. They're not restrained by tradition, though, so expect to find more than just local heroes if you venture down to the brewery on a Saturday or Sunday. The focus, they say, is on producing beers with complexity and character. Quietly impressive.

C'est doux léger onctueux. J'aurai dû la prendre avant les stouts, dommage c'est bon quand même avec des arômes café cacao.

Dark, nutty, malty and definitely smoky. An interesting brown ale.

A great decent English IPA. Not too fruity but with a great rounded flavour and mouthfeel. Good finish which could perhaps be improved.
