The cider shows a limpid, deep amber honey-looking face. Carbonation is sparkling and dies fast. A clean snow-white head pops at one finger's level and melts rushedly to nil. The scent is unexpectedly sweet: red apple, strawberry, a bit of marshmallow and ripe purple gooseberry. The taste is sweet, as well, but not as awkwardly as the fragrance suggests. I'm picking medium-sweet red apple whereas the gooseberry side diminishes substantially. I don't find any strawberry, nor marshmallow anymore, instead blackcurrant jam steps into the picture at this stage. We're munks on a mission, we'll keep on searchin' for the aftertaste: munks on a mission, whether by day or moonlight. The mouthfeel is definitely juicy, a bit thick, somewhat sappy and lip-glueing. Summery and gardeny.
