Another great beer that's probably going to be gone soon. Brewed locally and named after a nearby town, it's a punchy bitter with loads of malt and a great balance of flavours. A traditional brew with no pretensions. It's deep, brown and delicious. Summer is on the way and the swallows are zipping around the house. They are transient like this beer. Buy it if you see it.

When at its best this is a great bitter. Brewed literally up the road and named after the local town. There is nothing modern and fancy about it. But unlike many traditional bitters it doesn't taste out of time. It's russet brown and has a lovely tangy malt flavour. Beautifully crafted - it is Session-able but has punch. Sadly, the Brewery is at risk, so it may soon be no more. Buy it if you see it.
