Murky, deep amber beer flows to the glass. Carbonation is modest. Forms very thin, creamy, almost dark yellow head that settles soon to thin lacing. Nose is nearly neutral with a mere hint of overripe yellow fruit. Tastes though strongly malty with fermenting peach, apricot and some banana with floral notes. The malts are fairly strong, sweet and medium caramelized. I expected a bunch of Belgian-style yeast on the palate but, surprisingly, it wasn't really there. The body is medium robust and holds back the alcohol nicely but releases some of it towards the finish. Otherwise the palate ends short to medium with overripe fruit and caramel. Mouthfeel is soft, somewhat full, meadowy but not very mature though. A decent beer that falls though significantly short of good, tasty Belgian Ales.

Orange-fawn beer fills the glass. The head is creamy, soapy and very thin. Scent is faint hoppy grapefruit, otherwise neutral. Tastes powerful grapefruit with a slight note of alcohol in the background. The body is light-medium to medium and can't control the ethanol from peaking on the palate. Finishes with crisp fruity citrus, a bit of chemical alcohol and relatively dry hoppiness.

Pours cloudy, pale yellow beer that bears a thick, two-finger, white, soapy head of fairly long duration. Scent is medium fruity with citrus, and somewhat yeasty. Tastes hoppy and fruity with some grapefruit and faint lime. Medium body. Ends with standard grapefruity IPA finish with a bit yeasty and softer tone. Mouthfeel is tart, slightly dry, relatively manageable and a bit tropical.

Kolme varttia oluen juhlaa.
