Another Badum beer with an explosive Aroma. As soon as I opened the can there was a burst of deep malt, bread, cracker some doughy yeast and tonnes of dried fruit and heaps of pepper/spice. Nutmeg and cinnamon I think. Body is beautiful deep amber, difficult to see through. There was some off white foam after the pour but it faded quick. Mouthfeel is foamy, heavy and with a lingering warmth from 9.5% Taste has lots going on, caramel and bread upfront, then the pepper rolls in carrying the nutmeg and cinnamon. Some sweetness in the dried fruits comes next playing off the warmth and then the aftertaste is a mix of heat and sweet. Alot going on in this beer and I'd highly recommend it.

Another nice pour from a nice can. Apparently this is a 'pale' lager but as usual on the Iberian Peninsula, it is either amber or hazy. In this case, it's a little hazy, with faint traces of white head. Scent is remarkably citrusy, citrus hops are acutely present and generic cereals are also present. Mouthfeel is is very very foamy, not at all crisp, a little flat even. Taste is fruity by comparison to other Spanish lagers. The citrus really shines through and plays on the cereals quite well. Unfortunately it's all downhill from here, the form taste fades quite quickly and becomes utterly washed out. I had high hopes for this but the great taste is shortlived and doesn't cover for the flat feeling. This wasn't good but I will give it another chance if I see it again.

Another can review with little sight of the body. Again, a nice eye catching can from Badum. Opening this there was a brilliant explosion of juicy hops and pine resin, some caramel malts, dried fruits, slight mango and peach and a nice mild funk of the 7.2%. Mouthfeel is strong, and heavy, moderate foam and very mild carbonation. This is touching on dipa territory so there's a nice warmth at the end. Taste is fantastic, and I'd bet its better from a glass. A nice big wallop of pine, caramel, biscuit, then dried fruits and tropical mango emerge and fade again to the warmth. An excellent ipa.
