Big Smoke Brew Co.
Esher, England
chevron_leftchevron_right
You'll find The Big Smoke Brew Co at the back of The Antelope, a beautiful pub in the uber-leafy Surrey suburb of Surbiton (insert Good Life gag here). Beers range from the classics (pale ale, porter) to slightly more experimental efforts, like a milk stout made with coffee, cacao and vanilla. The majority of the beer brewed here is sold on-site but you might spot it in other good-beer spots, particularly in south-west London.

It pours blonde in colour with a subtle haze and a frothy, white head. Aroma has notes of citrus. Flavour is grassy with hints of citrus.

It is a decent drink with a nice fruity aroma, leaning towards the tropical. It has a nice tropical fruit taste with a subtle floral, hoppy note mixed in. Slightly bitter finish, but enjoyable. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale.

Draught-Pint.
Nice.
A nice flavoured and enjoyable, easy drinking beer (for me a summer beer) but one of so many that taste similar and seem to be everywhere!
This was the first time drank and it was in January 2026.
