Almost no head, what there is just disappears quickly. Pours a very dark brown, totally opaque in color. Has a distinct alcohol and cocoa aroma. Taste is of a very dry bitter cocoa. The alcohol seems stronger than the 7%, both in aroma and flavor. The flavor is both strong and very rich. Finish is really holding the flavors. This just has the feel and taste of a very well-made, well thought out Brew. Wish I had bought more than just this single.

I’m having a tough time with this one. It has kind of a candied lemon with pink grapefruit and an orange taste is my best description. There is more to it. It is sweet, sour and a little tangy with a light to medium bitterness. It’s weird - I like it but then I’m a little put off. It seems to change with every other sip. I’ll say you should try it but can’t recommend. I think this is one you have to judge for yourself Last sip left me at 3.2 but I did bounce around on my rating thru out.

Since my IPA choices so far have not been stellar I went to the dark side. This has a nice medium coffee taste with dark roasted malts. Has a little sweetness from the lactose States a single origin coffee on the can - not sure what that is but the coffee seems to have a high end coffee taste. Overall a nice coffee Porter that is a strong 3.75 rating.

I don't this really fits the NEIPA style at all. It also says 80 IBU's which I'm not getting at all. It definitely has a strong honey taste. There is a little fruit to it but nothing that is really pronounced Calling this a NEIPA is pretty far fetched. It's a slightly fruity beer with a lot of honey. It does hide the alcohol well at 9%. I don't even get a hint of alcohol. This is not one to seek out
