I’ve had this maturing for a few years now and thought I had better drink it before it goes like bovril?
The aroma of red berries is quite strong and on tasting you get rich smooth raspberry mouth full followed by bitter dark chocolate finishing with a boozy malty mellowness, really morish.

Pretty buzzed after this one. No idea how long I’ve had it stashed in my fridge, 4 or 5 years perhaps. Flavour is holding up beautifully. Vanilla, stewed fruits and biscuit dominate. There’s a slight funkiness to it and an earthy bitter finish. Full bodied and chewy.

Liquid caramel. Hints of stewed fruits, slight oxidation, mellow booziness. Nice stuff.
For a 5 year old beer that’s sat in my fridge this entire time, it’s done well! 👍

Have had this a while now so needs drinking. Sour berries with chocolate a little thin on body but not bad.

A summer stout, definitely. The raspberries cut through the beer nicely giving a fresh tart flavour over the top of a malty base. There’s hints of the muscavado sugar in both aroma and flavour. A nice full mouthfeel and well carbonated. A little less carbonation and a more robust malt profile and this would be fantastic
