A quick cheapie from Lidl. Opens with brave fizzing carbonation. I'm though glad it doesn't overpour everywhere and mess up the place. Looks semiclear gold, faintly hazy actually. A tall froth forms on that surface and shrinks soon to a normal lacing. Malt, corn, lemon peel and grass in the fragrance. I had to check the ingredients that there's no corn in the beer, it's just an illusion. Good. The taste... my goodness, this is really weak! Watery malt with a grainy hint, lemon peel and pith and grassy hops. No corn on the tastebuds. Still, the absence of corn doesn't really save this. The body is skinny. The end is fast and tweaks modestly more bitter than upfront. Feels watery, effervescent, bulky, industrial and characterless. Tick the box and forget.
