This is more dessert-ish. This has a sweet taste that leans towards cinnamon/ginger spice, honey graham cracker, marshmallow, vanilla with a hint of a maple syrup in the aftertaste. Has some dark roasted malt that is somewhat muted by the previous. Thin and hides the abv. Overall this has a sweet and spicy taste with some light bitterness. Nicely done winter beer. 9/24/25 date on can.

Wow, Peppermint patty in a glass. The Peppermint is the star here, crack the can and immediately Peppermint on the nose, vanilla, chocolate with a hint of cinnamon.

Wow oreo cookies in a can. This stout is advertised like the can said, buy some oreo cookies and dunk it in your favorite stout glass and enjoy.

Tasty, with cookie flavors immediately apparent. Finished it, but it took commitment.

I didn’t pick up much ginger on the first sip but then it kicked in pretty heavily. Add some medium cinnamon, light vanilla, roasted malt, very light chocolate. This is sweet but has an equal amount of bitterness too. It is thin for a stout. I don’t pick up the honey that is listed on the can. Pretty tasty and would probably be better around Christmas. Canned 11/19/23. Thank god it was bourbon barrel aged and is 9.2%.

Okay. To end my Xmas themed dark beer night. This is a little complex. This has a spicy taste that leans toward ginger with light cinnamon. It’s also sweet (definite lactose) that has some light caramel with hints of vanilla and honey. It also has some light fruit that leans toward fig and blackberry. The cinnamon and ginger flip flop when finishing. The light roasted malt adds a little bitterness helping counteract a little bit of the previous. I didn’t pick up much coffee as listed on the can. It’s on the thin side. At first the spice side hits you but the rest turns this to the sweet side but keeps the spice along the way. The added little bit of bitterness rounds it out. It’s a good mixture.
