The pour looks muddy, deep dark brown, almost black. Like black coffee. The carbonation behaves bravely but not aggressively. A bisque velvety head climbs three fingers high and melts soon to a cute lace ring and a fragile haze on the top. Intensive ground raw coffee beans in the scent. A bit bitter-leaning. I can also receive burned malt, ash and dried tobacco leaves. Sharp. Slaps straight on your face. A relatively dry taste profile. Tobacco, ash, burned malt, charcoal, raw coffee beans and a hint of raw cacao powder can be identified. Unapologetic like Fonzie in the Happy Days in those good old times. Heyyy! 👍🏻 The body is light. The finish is moderately easier as the dry charred nuance declines a bit. The chocolatey wisp grows toward the end. The dark arts, broken pieces; I don’t have to keep them, to sweep them off in circles; display the aftertaste around in my living room. The mouthfeel is light, burned, charred, dry and drying. And a tad husky.

Rounded and tasty with a great depth of flavour for a brown.
