At the Beer Cellarr in Houston with my son-in-law trying out some really good beers. Dark brown opaque color. Chocolate and spice aroma. Chipotle spice is predominant combined with a dry roasted coffee. Dry finish, well hidden alcohol. Good.

Here we go again, son-in-law forcing me to drink more beer on a day that's already gone too far. We bought this yesterday at Brash Brewing in a can. Now we're going to give it a try. It's a Texas Willie Nelson beer, had no choice but to try it. Light yellow hazy color. Strong bitter lemon peel flavor. Bitterness level continues right through to the finish and then tapers off to a sour grapefruit. Not the best IPA ever.

At Brash Brewing with my son-in-law. Our fourth beer on a flight. Triple dry hopped double IPA at 10%. Uh-oh, they have obviously vastly increased the alcohol presence since this was first posted. Deep yellow color, crystal clear. Very strong floral aroma. Grapefruit concentrated. Floral nasal aroma in the background. Has some lasting bitterness but not too strong. Citrus flavor continues well past a normal finish. Pretty good.

At Brash Brewery with my son-in-law having some more excellent, very excellent stouts. Strong multi-chocolate aroma. Thick texture. Strong malt strong alcohol but seems less than 15%. Very roasted and powerful beer. Finish continues with a strong bittersweet chocolate and alcohol forward.

At Brash Brewing with my son-in-law trying out some different beers. White Russian milk stout, sounds delicious. On tap it is 9%, not the 10% that it comes in a can. Don't understand the difference. Strong very sweet chocolate aroma. Again opaque brown color. Medium thick creamy texture. Heavy milk chocolate, vanilla bean forward, definitely a white chocolate flavor. Finish lasts, brings some bittersweet notes. Not able to taste the alcohol. Very impressed with beer.

At Brash Brewery with my son-in-law. Small head, opaque brown color. Chocolate aroma. Creamy. Milk chocolate forward quickly followed by the ghost peppers. Add the alcohol straight through the end of the finish, pepper sting is lasting and delicious.

On tap at Craft 96. Strong aroma of chocolate . Very strong coffee flavor with bittersweet chocolate coming at the end. Finish is pure coffee and strong and lasts.
