Duo with Ryan. A Texas Marzen lager he found for me to bring home. I love the Marzen style so I have great expectations. Starts with a very high yellow head. Malt aroma, sweet. This is incredibly soft and smooth. Malty, a modest sweetness of honey, caramel, notes of bread and, of course, a touch of Marzen. So soft, so smooth, so perfectly balanced with each flavor complimenting the others. They did a great job with this. I could enjoy this with a meal or sit back and chug it with friends or sit back and sip it by itself.
