Rich, slightly fruity, chocolatey & malty = a very pleasant pint

A beer I have tasted before albeit a while ago. Dark and malty. Smooth with a little sweetness in the taste. Nice beer.

Second one tastes better than the first and the third one tastes better than the second 😋

A pokey little number. Nice and bitter with bags of hops. Not sure why the barman served it in a dimpled mug, but it could come in handy if a fight breaks out. It is Spoons on a Friday teatime after all. Only £1.99, a may have another just in case it does kick off.

6/3/2025. Golden colour, citrusy flavour, quite hoppy. Decent beer. JDW Beer Festival, March 2025.

It’s a pale session ale. Does its job.
