I don't often see many mixed boxes of beer here either than sometimes a brewery puts together a mixed pack of there offerings. This is kind of a hybrid. Parallel 49 brewing collaborates with other breweries to make this mixed box. 24 beers, 24 collaborations. This box has the theme of "new wave" This is number one. The nose on this lightly cloudy straw coloured wit is very mild. What thing I can pick up are of grainy wheat, gentle teases of orange, lemon and possibly coriander. Flavour profile is similarly mild with grainy wheat being the forerunner and nuances of lemon zest and spice to round off the profile. There is a bit of a bitterness that follows through and makes up the aftertaste. Very refreshing and inoffensive. A quaffable summary beer. I like it very much but it is not very daring, which honestly is a nice break these days.
