A really nice take on the american strong ale. Usually not too keen on these since I find them exceptionally challenging to drink, being boozy enough to cover the most of the other notes. This one is really soft with some nice sweet caramel malts in the beginning with the booziness kicking straight in. That is though balanced out with the hoppiness and a small note of bitter giving the beer a really smooth ride to the finish. I really like this one, being really deep on the taste and not letting the booziness take complete control.
