This is a dark moist, beautiful bitter - get it from Leicester as it doesn't travel well. The much lighter Tiger and sun-chaser travel, but not this - you want to go to the globe in the middle of Leicester city and have yourself a session of this! Warning!!! Do not mix with other beers, stick to it and ye will be rewarded. I used to cut through the carpark where they dug up Richard the third, just so I could get me some everards lovin'! Original and old original and tiger rule Leicester - they should rule the world, but sometimes the best kept secrets are kept for the beer nutters and the lucky ones, I was one of the latter. Three years of solid drinking in Leicester made me the man I am today! Crying like a baby, dreaming about how I used to finish, then begin an entirely new barrel in the globe or the fullback and firkin (which is probably still an O'Neills) or the other welcoming everards pubs in Leicester.
