Having another Clown Shoes beer with my son-in-law on Duo. We both enjoy this brewery very much.
Began with a thick head, burnt orange. Hazy color that reminds me of a tequila sunrise, deep orange in the middle tapering on the edges. Unusual aroma combining both mild citrus and Amber malt. Soft as a feather pillow texture. Flavor has a gentle sweet amber malt quality then allows a citrus hop to blend with it but not subdue it. As this moves into the finish, a smooth caramel quality surfaces.
Never hid the fact that I am not an IPA lover. However, I could enjoy this forever. An IPA with sweet Amber qualities is as good as it gets for me. Very good beer.

Has candied orange, very light pine and a light bitterness. Add in some toasted caramel malt to go with it.
Overall it is a nice DIPA that leans on the sweet side and seems to grow a bit as you get further in. Hides the 9% abv very well.
Let’s go Flyers!!!
