Zagorka is one of the iconic Bulgarian beers, produced in Stara Zagora it has a crisp and refreshing taste. The company was founded in 1902, in the Czech tradition, by a doctor who returned from Prague. The current brewery was opened in 1958 and since 1994 is owned by Heineken.

Definitely has a touch of Heineken about it, which is fine by me, could have been Carling. Nice and dry, bit of poke and not overly fizzy. I could be on this till I phone for the Uber....oh hang on, I drive the Uber......
