Very, very dark and thick stout. I could smell and taste the chocolate, caramel hints, but I expected more maltiness from a stout. There's none of those 'good' stouty qualities to balance out the sweetness. For a 5.5% beer this tastes far, far stronger. I struggled to finish this pint, as it was just too sickly. Nasty.

Wetherspoons Ale Festival 2018 (27) Nice initial taste, but then just reminded me of a medicine after that. It’s a No from me

A very moreish rich stout. Chocolate tasting with hints of vanilla lead to a very satisfying stout. Brewed especially for JDW Real Ale Festival March 2018.
