Very good stout! Creamy and smooth with the mouth feel. Coffee,chocolate and caramel taste and also in the aroma. Also very refreshing, which you don’t say about too many stouts. Well worth a try!

The 10th and last beer from this month's Beer 52 Ireland box. It pours a nice black, brown at the edges, with a beige head, that seems to be staying quite a while in my hotel room mug. Aroma is of coffee and roasted malts. Flavour is mostly of roasted malts, with only hints of coffee, and subtle molasses but there's a pear drop confectionary kind of taste too. Mouthfeel is quite smooth and creamy, due to the lactose. I was expecting more coffee though 😣

Not normally a fan of stout. But this is not too bad, I couldn’t drink much of it, but this 330 ml bottle will just about do.
