This has a spicy rye taste with some brown sugar, light dark fruit/raisin, vanilla and let’s not forget the whiskey. This is quite sweet but stays below the line of being over the top (it’s close tho). The spicy rye gets a little more pronounced as it warms. Hopefully this knocks the shit out of the Covid I have. Starting to feel better after 5 days. Pregaming for game 2 of the World Series. Go Phillies!!!

Excelente cerveza.

Aroma is sweet smelling with a breadiness and some booze. Brown sugar. Getting into the taste, I'm getting rye whiskey and oak from the barrel aging up front. Caramel is present as well. Noticeable carbonation. The sweetness I got in the aroma isn't really present in the taste. This one's got a very dry, slightly bitter taste to it. The whiskey in this is great. Gives you the sensation of drinking whiskey without the burn or buzz. This is pretty good. Not too warm going down, not too bitter, not too sweet, and very easy drinking. I'd pick this up again for sure. 4/5

Spicy rye front end with a sweet backnote of the rye whiskey. Clean and balanced.
