1st Holiday beer , good flavour top marks.
Full-bodied, strong and Cornish. Brewed with plenty of malt and lashings of English Progress and Golding Hops, HSD is a truly classic ale of complexity and depth. Raisin and toffee aromas with fruity and bitter hops flavours.

On a bank holiday weekend there are a few folks who head off to the coast to soak up the weak sun and breathe the sea air.
I decided to forego the traffic and crowds and bring Cornwall to me.
It smells of warm dough, carefully kneaded and recently placed into the oven.
It's rich and smooth whilst soft and distinct.
The comfort of a pasty, warm to the touch and yielding to the bite.
It has all the vitamins, all the taste and none of the lint that is sometimes dressed up and passed off as character.
I do like a good pie or pastry, and imagine this ale would go perfectly well alongside or as part of the filling.
Now I fancy a slice of pie.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Pretty standard fare & not much difference to their other brews tbh
