A strong, dark beer of great complexity and depth, based on traditional recipes from the 18th century. Brown, amber and black malts are mixed with pale ale malts to give this beer its strong aroma and colouring. A complex beer with aromas of leather, chocolate and liquorice, with a lingering taste.
